With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, I bring a wealth of experience, passion, and warmth to Woburn Winery. My love for food and drink has never waned, and I continue to be inspired by the joy of sharing great meals and meaningful conversations.
A significant part of my career has been dedicated to wine — curating bespoke wine lists, leading engaging tastings, and delivering expert training to both public and private audiences. A qualified professional through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET Advanced), I have a deep understanding of wine, and an approachable style that makes learning about it both fun and memorable.
My journey with wine has taken me around the world — from the vineyards of South Africa and the sun-soaked valleys of California, to the heart of France and Spain, and even here in England. One of my most cherished memories is sipping Champagne on the ancient vineyard walls of Dom Pérignon on a hot summer’s day in France — a moment that captures the magic of what wine can offer.
Now proudly branching out with my own venture alongside my amazing wife, Annamarie, we will work closely with both you and your guests to enhance any dining or drinking experience. Whether you’re exploring new varietals or looking for the perfect pairing, I am always happy to chat, share stories, and guide you through a carefully curated wine selection or a gastronomical experience.
